Nix ShoesCampaign
Full disclosure, this is a college project. I keep it in here to show conceptual thinking. And because it got an A.
The assignment was to create a brand name and integrated campaign for running shoes that completely biodegrade after 2 years.
Which means they ultimately leave no impact on the environment. So, from the environment’s perspective, it’s like these shoes don’t even exist. I modeled a campaign around that idea and called them Nix Shoes.

In line with the green focus of the brand, this ad would be created with a process called "green graffiti," which uses high-pressure water blasters and stencils to create temporary patterns on dirty city walls and streets.
Pictured below is what my green graffiti ad might look like on the Arthur Fiedler Footbridge in Boston. Each shoe stencil will look progressively more disintegrated, in a timeline showing their return back to nature. The text stencils read "This ad will disappear. Just like our shoes. Nix Shoes are 100% biodegradable," followed by the slogan and website.
